Conference, workshops and seminars are a part of study at SICA College. Seminars and workshops enhance students’ perspective and help them to see beyond their horizons.
National Conference
SICA College organized National Conference on Challenges in Sustainable Development Goals in Post Pandemic Era on 23rd July, 2022. The Chief Guest of the conference was honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Renu Jain, DAVV and the Keynote Speaker was Dr. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Rector, DAVV. The objective of the conference was to create an atmosphere where research scholars, academicians and students exchanged ideas and pondered over issues that needed to be addressed. Academicians and research scholars came from different states of India and became instrumental in promoting more significant research and innovative ideas.
Soft Skills and GDPI Workshop
Soft Skills and GDPI Workshop is organized yearly to enhance and redefine soft skills required for success at the workplace through targeted learning activities and practical exercises. Many students of all the streams have taken advantage of this workshop and polished their existing skills.
A Workshop on the Basics of MS Excel & Tableau
The college has state-of the- art Computer Lab enabling students to keep abreast with computer learning programs. A Workshop on the Basics of MS Excel & Tableau was organised from 21st to 23rd August, 2023 in the Computer Lab for the students. The Resource Persons were Dr. Kapil Tarey, IT Expert and Certified Trainer- Tableau and Prof. Dinesh Salitra. Such computer workshops are organised regularly without any cost.

Self-Defence Training Workshop
In the current scenario, women safety is of utmost importance. It is extremely necessary to provide self- defence training to girl students to ensure their safety and security. This workshop is regularly organised in the college. Self-Defence Training Workshop was organized for the students on 24th& 25th March 2023. The Trainer was Ms. Monika Devda, a Gold Medallist in Taekwondo and has participated in All India Inter- University Tournament.
A Certified Banking Workshop
With a view to enhance the knowledge of students about banking sector, a banking workshop is organised every year. This workshop intends to provide a comprehensive understanding of banking sector. This also enables students to learn key skills to perform a variety of banking services.
Advertising Workshop
With an aim to acquaint young minds with the concept of advertising, workshop on advertising was organized at SICA College with Mr. Pravesh Kumar Mudgal, Manager, Creative Copy and Content, Dainik Bhaskar from 3rd to 5th October. This intensive workshop was meant to give students a taste of modern advertising field life, the roles they may pursue within the field in the future, the challenges professional communicators face creating effective and meaningful campaign work for modern clients, and the fun that can be had solving those challenges. This workshop is also organized every year.

Tally. ERP 9 certificate course is organized to equip students for professional accounting career. This course aims to provide insights and knowledge on corporate financial accounting procedure.
Various Seminars and Symposiums
Various seminars and symposiums are organized throughout the year on various relevant topics and experts are invited to deliver lectures to share their knowledge and thoughts. The topics range from Financial Literacy and Planning Strategies, Accounting, Taxation Law and Practice, Start-up Ecosystem and Entrepreneurship, Human Rights Day Seminar, Ganit Manthan etc. to name a few that are organised this year.
